Abstract:

Since the early 1970s, the participation of women in lay and professional leadership positions in federations has been on the national and local agenda. The latest employment survey found that women are slowly but surely moving into the most senior positions. The new emphasis on financial resource development may be the key to success in increasing opportunities for women.
