Abstract:

The author asserts that the profession of Jewish education can provide intrinsic reward and meaning to Jewish educators, not only through the impact on the students, but also through provision of a meaningful Jewish environment in which the educator her/himself can experience value. The field of Jewish education ought to realize and use this for the benefit of the field, the author contends.
