Abstract:
This is primarily a study of the three institutions with the largest rabbinical training programs in America: Yeshiva University, The Jewish Theological Seminary and Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute for Religion). In evaluating the findings and observations on the respective ordination programs, the reader should bear in mind that this is an analytical study, therefore, by definition, critical.
