Abstract:
The author recounts the experiences of the Talmud Torah of St. Paul, MN with integrating moral education into the religious curriculum. He discusses teaching tools such as ethical dilemmas and other methods for such integration. The author also discusses how moral awareness is a part of childhood development, both from the scientific/educational perspective and from classical rabbinic Jewish perspectives.
