Abstract:
The authors note that most Jews and Palestinians in the US and in the Middle East have never had an in-depth, sustained relationship with one another. There is a big disconnect that allows both groups to live by stereotypes and inherited agendas, and to continue to disregard, discredit, and disenfranchise one another. They advocate for building positive relationships through personal, face-to-face dialogue and education.
