Abstract:
The author asserts that as China emerges as a world power, Jews have an opportunity to pursue policy strategies that will create favorable Jewish-Chinese relations. He relates Chinese history as it pertains to modernization and to interaction with Judaism. He argues for much greater Jewish engagement with China and offers a range of policy recommendations.
