Abstract:
The author analyzes the changing relationship between American Jews and American Evangelical Christians, given the vibrant and increasing support for Israel amongst the Evangelical community. The author reviews the responses of American Jewish communal leaders, and some Israeli leaders to Evangelical supportfor Israel, contrasts Jewish-Evangelical agreement on Israel to disagreement on domestic issues, discusses the work of leaders in the effort to bolster the Jewish-Evangelical pro-Israel coalition, and predicts that more Jews will come to embrace a "cautious embrace" of Evangelical support in Israel advocacy.
