Abstract:
Blanchard, Hirschfield and Kula discuss how the boundaries between "sacred" and "secular" are currently evolving. They describe a spiritual - but not necessarily religious - language that is emerging in modern public policy. They statel that this language will re-engage the public without sacrificing the separation of church and state and the freedoms of a pluralist society.
