Abstract:
The author argues that the popular belief that Modern Orthodoxy is on the verge of extinction is an exaggeration. Rather, he contends, Modern Orthodoxy has prospects for success, if effective leadership responds to the challenge. The author defines Modern Orthodoxy, discusses the history of its eclipse and the rise of right-wing Orthodoxy, and makes recommendations for how Modern Orthodoxy can survive.
