Abstract:
Moskowitz uses ecosystems as a metaphor for the interaction between various Jewish organizations and institutions. Citing Jack Wertheimer's "Linking the Silos: How to Accelerate the Momentum in Jewish Education," Moskowitz agrees that bridges and links between these organizations and institutions should be built and strengthened. She expands upon this notion to highlight the importance of creating and nurturing smaller "systems" (e.g., classes, families, book discussion groups) so they can flourish on their own as well as connect to established institutions.
