Abstract:
The author sharply criticizes the book "Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting Our Future" by Ben Shapiro. The author finds fault with Shapiro's seeming presumption to be the final arbiter on the morality (or lack thereof) in popular culture. Furthermore, the author argues, there is more agreement with Shapiro in America than Shapiro admits about the inappropriateness of offensive materials; only a small margin of Americans defend gangsta rap and pornography, the author asserts, whereas Shapiro portrays an environment of broad tolerance for these and other immoralities.
