This issue of Contact explores the unique dimensions of new parenthood, early childhood, and the Jewish education of both children and adults. Dr. Mark I. Rosen outlines strategies for success in reaching out to parents on young children. Dr.Steven B. Nasatir and Rabbi David Gedzelman discuss the idea of a "Newborn Gift" which might be given to each Jewish family by the local Jewish community upon the birth of a child.
