Rabbi Shira Milgrom and Rabbi Hayim Herring discuss the use of "Synaplex" events in which synagogues offer simultaneous diverse options for experiencing Shabbat. Rabbi Terry Bookman and Dr. S. Tamar Kamionkowski write about the demands facing congregational rabbis, and discuss possibilities for improving models of rabbinic education. Rabbi Michael Paley discusses the musical revitalization work of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Also included are articles by Rabbi Neal Borovitz, Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, Dr. Isa Aron, Dr. Robert M. Weinberg, Rabbi Jan Caryl Kaufman, K'vod Wieder, and Bill Robinson.
