Abstract:
The author describes the Borns Jewish Studies program at Indiana University. He further offers three criteria for a good undergraduate Jewish studies major: (1) it should also be a good liberal arts major; (2) it should have multiple points of access; and (3) it should provide not only a structure but a structured relationship with teachers.
