Abstract:
This new analysis, made possible through Kaiser Permanente, provides a close-up look at Medicaid beneficiaries with serious comorbidities, and highlights the pervasiveness of mental illness among this population. The findings can help guide Medicaid takeholders in tailoring interventions more effectively by identifying subsets of patients or conditions that are most likely to benefit from care management.
