Abstract:
The second issue of the PROMETHEUS Payment® project’s quarterly newsletter provides brief updates on the program’s recent achievements to test bold, new methods of reforming the way providers in diverse communities are paid. The newsletter highlights news and views from the project pilot sites, as well the latest products to be released.
Stakeholders can access a tool to help calculate the rate and dollar amount of potentially avoidable complications in inpatient or outpatient care, as well as a workbook to help physician “medical home†practices compare compensation under PROMETHEUS versus traditional fee-for-service payments.
