Abstract:
More than one-half of health insurance plan enrollees are in plans that collect data on race and ethnicity about their enrolled population and/or information on the primary languages spoken by their enrollees. The purpose: to improve the quality of care enrollees receive. While the study suggests significant progress, plans continue to cite challenges to data collection.
