Abstract:
In the United States health care costs have increased at a rate higher than overall economic growth. Health care inflation dictates that comprehensive health care reform efforts attempt to control health care costs.
In this paper, the author examined cost control efforts in comprehensive health care reform. He used a societal perspective that addressed the development, adoption and diffusion of new technology as it relates to health care costs.
