Abstract:
Although motorcycles accounted for only 3 percent of all registered vehicles in 2006, motorcycle riders represented 12 percent of all U.S. vehicle occupant fatalities. This report analyzes information about motorcycle collisions in Indiana that can assist with traffic safety program planning and design.
