Abstract:
About 30 percent of Indiana traffic fatalities occur in alcohol-related crashes. From 2003 to 2006, more than 1,000 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes in Indiana, and another 25,000 people sustained injuries. This report examines the sometimes deadly link between alcohol and traffic collisions and Indiana's comparative status among other Great Lakes states.
