Abstract:
This report demonstrates that the ECE industry is an economic driver in our Nation's Capital by: generating $221 million in gross receipts and creating 6,300 full-time equivalent jobs; enabling parents to work and/or update their skills; and preparing children for success in school and success in life. The report also makes recommendations for how to maximize the economic potential of the industry.
