Abstract:
The managed care industry claims that the cost of patients' rights legislation will make families lose health insurance coverage--a charge that is both misleading and self-serving. This report examines the compensation for the highest-paid executives of 10 for-profit, publicly traded companies that own health plans serving multiple states.
