Abstract:
Despite consumer concerns over the price of gasoline, which is near or above $4 per gallon, new data on first-quarter GDP shows that the economy is not in a recession. Advance figures were revised up 0.3 percentage points to 0.9%, showing lukewarm yet positive growth.
