Abstract:
Thirteen political action committees advocated for Ballot Measure 30 and seven urged a "no" vote. The measure, which failed by a 59 to 41 percent margin, overturns the revenue bill that drew bipartisan support and ended the 2003 legislative session.
The final disclosure report indicates even contribution levels with the "yes" side raising $1,034,742 while Measure 30 opponents raised $1,032,168.The "yes" and "no" players and their total contributions are summarized.
