Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to briefly summarize the arguments for and against the proposed sale of the AWACS/F-15 enhancement package to Saudi Arabia, to analyze some of the major issues raised by the sale, and to assess the possible consequences of a congressional rejection or acceptance of the proposed sale.
