Abstract:
The budget can be balanced only through vigorous economic growth, coupled with spending reductions. The July cut promises to spur the economy into a robust and sustained recovery that will help generate more revenues to balance the budget. The recovery has already been launched successfully; it is no time to hange the flight plan.
