Abstract:
The problem of product liability has its roots in the broader question of tort law reform. As the costs of a litigous society become increasingly apparent, so too does the need to place some restraint on its continued growth. This can only be accomplished through the institution of a uniform standard of liability, along with a reasonable set of rules under which liability actions can be brought.
