Abstract:
A crushing tax burden is making it increasingly difficult for middle-class families to support themselves. What families need from government is not new spending and new social programs. Those have done little or nothing to help families, and paying for them merely has added to the tax burden on these same families. The best way for the federal government to strengthen families and assist parents in their vital role of raising the next generation of Americans is to reduce their tax burden.
