Abstract:
The report calls for a new direction in U.S. security policy, placing the ability of the nation to withstand a catastrophic event and quickly return to a state of near normalcy on par with preventing terrorist attacks. The report examines the four facets of resilience: preparedness, protection, response, and recovery and offers guidance on how to achieve resilience through innovation, collaboration and leadership.
