Abstract:

This article outlines different models of Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities, within the context of the Jewish community. These models are designed to help older people remain independent and age in their own homes, rather than in institutional care. The author discusses the differences and similarities between the models in terms of context, goals, and implementation as well as challenges and next steps.
