Abstract:

Too many Jewish communal professionals lack the basic Jewish knowledge needed to hold even a simple conversation about Jewish concepts. This article presents a new approach to delivering a D'var Torah (homily) that will enable all professionals to feel comfortable with that task. The primary concern of this approach is maintaining relevance for both the professional and his or her audience.
