Abstract:
Describes the changes in the new law called the Child Support Performance and Incentive Act of 1998 (CSPIA). Some of these changes will fundamentally affect the operation and financing of state child support programs. Other topics include fiscal sanctions for failure to meet the IV-D program automation requirements; administrative enforcement, and Data Collection.
