Abstract:
The education system in the United States does not yet possess a curriculum that allows for the enrichment of education in social work and congruently, Jewish Communal Service. This article suggests ways in which an effective curriculum can be designed that addresses the needs of those interested in pursuing a professional degree in Jewish social work education. The article also outlines the difficulties in formulating a curriculum applicable to the varying cultures in the Jewish community.
