Abstract:

This article examines the social work function of the Jewish Community Center. It attempts to explain the current inefficiency of that function and the nature of the psycho-social environment in which services are provided in the Jewish community. Furthermore the article explains the importance of creating the proper environment to house Jewish community social work agencies.
