Abstract:
The author discusses a new management technique called Organization Development (O.D.), a rapidly expanding field involving the application of behavioral science to organizational problems through programs of planned change. The author advocates a role for O.D. in the field of Jewish communal service. He explains some basic principles of O.D., including calculated risk-taking and team-building.
