Abstract:
The key to success in absorption of Soviet Jewish immigrants lies in a high degree of personal contact with American Jews. Most Soviet emigres in the community have been here more than five years while many are non-American Citizens. The task, therefore, is to ensure that the newcomers will remain Jews.
