Abstract:
The author describes some of the ways that volunteers can cooperate with social workers to make an enormous difference in the lives of needy families, and strongly encourages people with money and/or leisure to become personally involved in volunteer work in a way that will both help individuals and add to both the welfare and the cohesiveness of the Jewish community.
